Useful Energy Balance for Colombia

The project consisted in the elaboration of the methodological proposal, definition of tools, strategies and mechanisms for the collection and validation of information to carry out a first Useful Energy Balance for Colombia, considering the economic quantification of energy losses due to technological absorption, inadequate operating practices and non-diversification of the national energy matrix.

Progressive firewood substitution plan

The project consisted of a study to formulate an updated program for the progressive substitution of firewood as an energy source in the residential sector in Colombia, including a strategy and roadmap, the evaluation of lessons learned from previous programs implemented in Colombia to substitute or use firewood more efficiently and cleanly, and the evaluation […]

Estimated subsistence consumption

The project consisted of estimating subsistence consumption of electricity, natural gas and LPG in the national territory: National Interconnected System – SIN and Non-Interconnected Zones – ZNI; considering technological, geographic, demographic, cultural, economic and energy efficiency aspects. Likewise, an analysis was made to determine the economic capacity of users to access energy efficient technologies.

Roadmap for energy labeling in Colombia

The project consisted of establishing a roadmap for energy labeling or minimum energy efficiency standards (MEPS) in Colombia, including energy end-use equipment in the residential, tertiary, industrial, transportation and building sectors.

Energy characterization of the tertiary sector in Colombia

The project consisted of characterizing the energy consumption of the tertiary sector to strengthen the energy efficiency strategies and measures, described in the recent PAI PROURE. In the development of the project, the following was carried out: Collection, review and analysis of energy consumption from secondary and primary information, disaggregated by energy, use and technology […]
