Energy characterization of the tertiary sector in Colombia

The project consisted of characterizing the energy consumption of the tertiary sector to strengthen the energy efficiency strategies and measures, described in the recent PAI PROURE.
In the development of the project, the following was carried out:
Collection, review and analysis of energy consumption from secondary and primary information, disaggregated by energy, use and technology or practice employed, in the subsectors of the tertiary sector under study at the national level; taking into account, the different Colombian thermal floors and the size of the companies.
The state of the art of the main technologies and the best opportunities for continuous improvement in energy efficiency, including new developments such as those associated with digitalization and automation, design, construction and sustainable use of buildings, diversification in the use of energy and, in general, good energy use practices.
